Harpeth Capital Announces Addition of Dr. Seenu Reddy to Advisory Board
Harpeth Companies, the parent company of Harpeth Capital, is pleased to announce that Dr. Seenu Reddy has joined the Firm’s Advisory Board. V. Seenu Reddy, MD, MBA, FACS FACC is a cardiothoracic surgeon at TriStar Cardiovascular Surgery in Nashville, TN. He is Director of the Structural Heart Program and Director of Cardiac Surgery Outreach at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. In addition, he is active as a part of the Physician Advisors Council at HealthTrust, LLC and at HCA. Dr. Reddy earned his undergraduate degree (magna cum laude) from Amherst College and received his MBA with Honors from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management and graduated from medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB) with clinical honors.
He completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Emory University Medical Center. Dr. Reddy served as an associate on the Emory faculty and as Associate Professor of Surgery in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio prior to his relocating to Nashville. Dr. Reddy is an active member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) Workforce on Coding and Reimbursement and is involved in representing the STS at the American Medical Associations Relative Value Update Committee. In addition, he serves on the STS Taskforce on Practice Management and Media Relations.
He is a member of many major medical societies and has published over 40 articles and book chapters. Dr. Reddy is also the immediate Past President of the Nashville Surgical Society, is the past President and current Board Chair of the Nashville Academy of Medicine, and the immediate Past President of the 21st Century Cardiovascular Society. He serves on the advisory board of numerous technology companies.
