Harpeth Capital Announces New Senior Partner, Promotions

Ken photoHarpeth Capital is pleased to announce the addition of Ken Freeman as a Managing Director with Harpeth Fund Advisors, its dedicated group focused on raising capital for alternative investment funds.  Ken brings over 15 years of global institutional marketing and fundraising experience to the firm.

Prior to joining Harpeth Fund Advisors, Ken was a Managing Director at Harbert Management Corporation where he was responsible for business development for the firm’s portfolio of hedge fund, private equity and real estate funds across the Western United States and in Asia.

Ken was previously with UBS Investment Bank, Citigroup Investment Bank and Knight Capital, where he helped build their private equity distribution platform in the Western United States and in Asia. He began his career in the media industry where he spent five years in Singapore and Hong Kong helping establish the Discovery Channel in Asia, and with CNET in San Francisco.

Promotions

Harpeth Capital is also pleased to announce the promotions of Angela Stanley and Adam Landa to the position of Managing Director. Angela is a founding member of the Harpeth Fund Advisors team having joined the firm in October 2012.  Adam has been a senior member of the investment banking team since October 2005.

Harpeth Capital also recently announced that Dave Swenson, former co-founder of the venture capital firm Coleman Swenson, has partnered with the firm to assist with its principal investing activities.
